It's Greek To Me - A Study of Greek and Roman Mythology, Part II
Join Transylvania University professor Dr. John Svarlien in this second session of a two-part series focusing on Greek & Roman myths.
Greek myths are story telling at its best. These stories have shaped the way we look at the world in more ways than one might imagine.
We'll continue to look at some of the greatest stories and talk about the different ways these myths are foundational to Western civilization.
Participation in the first session is strongly advised in order to receive maximum benefits from session two.
Registration for the October 7th session will open at 9:00 am on September 16th.
You can check out a copy of the book from the library or use interlibrary loan to borrow a copy. Thisis your responsibility. (Interlibrary loans take at least one week or longer to obtain. Please plan accordingly.)
The book we will continue to use is Bulfinch's Greek & Roman Mythology: The Age of Fable (Dover Thrift Edition).
